RESEARCH  /  PHYSICS GUARDRAIL

The core brain of AION‑IA.

A physics-aware validation layer that sits between a research problem and computational exploration.

Before AION-IA commits computation to a research direction, that direction passes through the Physics Guardrail: a validation layer that checks proposed approaches for physical consistency.

Physical consistency, checked early

A proposed method is evaluated against known physical constraints before AION-IA invests further computation in it. This surfaces inconsistencies early, rather than after a result has already shaped a conclusion.

Domain-specific validation

Validation rules are tailored to the domain in question, materials, communications, optimisation or quantum machine learning, so the guardrail reflects the physics that actually governs each problem.

Research confidence with a basis

Results that pass through the guardrail carry a documented basis in physical consistency, rather than confidence derived from simulation alone.

An evolving layer

The guardrail is under continued research and refinement. It is treated as a research object in its own right, not a finished system.

BENCHMARKING

Measured against alternatives.

AION-IA has benchmarked the Physics Guardrail against other guardrail approaches. Results will be published here once finalised, alongside methodology.
